Yachats Inn and The Paddock Motel

331 Highway 101 S, Yachats, OR 97394

More Information Coming Soon

Before this was the Yachats Inn, it was The Paddock Motel. The original owners, the Garrisons, built it in 1949 for $120,000. Despite its name, no one believes any horses were associated with the hotel.

Some old timers say Mr. Garrison died in a hunting accident. He leaned his gun against a fencepost, and while climbing through the fence, the gun went off and killed him.

Katy and Paul Plunk bought the Yachats Inn in the late 1980s.
