The Tole Tree sold myrtle wood home decor and hand-painted wooden treasures, and offered painting classes. The owner, Kay Ludlow, was a nationally-known tole painter, as and author of Acrylic Rosemaling for Everyone. For more than 20 years, she taught eager students the fine art of tole painting from her Yachats shop and studio. Her students came from all over the nation, and from other countries, as well.
